Profits go to rescuing historic buildings at risk - we were awarded the 2007 Guardian/Observer Ethical Travel award, against international competition (and named again in 2008!). The company aims to rent its accommodation every night of the year and we constantly adjust prices to try and achieve this.

Under the Thatch accepts an obligation and responsibility for the environment and the local communities in which it operates, and aspires to share these values with its customers. We operate an environmental management system to ensure continuous responsible practices.
