A respite from the modern world, this is a simple, delightful retreat. This modern rustic property is unlike anything you'll find through your average holiday cottage agency. It is exactly what 'Under The Thatch' is all about - simple, rustic, and authentic, private...and very comfortable.

Originally built from local materials in an old-fashioned way, in just one night this is a typical croglofft cottage – an open-plan living space with a sleeping loft over. We're delighted to be agents for this peaceful, tranquil place.

Madelin M,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Unnos. The cottage was warm and comfortable. It had plenty of space for the two of us, with a particularly large bathroom (with bath, not shower). Maps were provided which helped with our exploration. We used the cottage as a base to visit the Botanical Gardens, Saundersfoot, Cenarth and the Dylan Thomas Birthday walk. We recommend the restaurant Lan Y Mor at Saundersfoot. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage, magical stay on a stormy weekend - so secure in the storm, the wind bellows to the wood burning stove. Woke up to the blackbird singing, blue skies and enjoyed stars the following night. Wonderful walks on the coast and nearby. Thank you, we'll be back soon.

We loved our stay at Ty Unnos. What a delight to wake with a Teletubby sunrise just over the hill each morning. A stunning renovation, dressed beautifully with local artwork, handmade cushions. The track actually isn’t that bumpy, and ‘What3words’ got us there easily. Hopefully will return - the cottage is perfectly placed to explore this much loved part of West Wales.

A lovely cottage, as always with under the thatch

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Not in any way a complaint but the kitchen is pretty basic so if you are planning on cooking up a storm this might not be right for you. It is perfectly functional. I loved staying here.
