The Accommodation

Restored by BBC's Griff Rhys Jones & the subject of the popular BBC 4 TV series 'A Pembrokeshire Farm'. We think that Trehilyn is among the best self-catering cottages in the UK, and VisitWales (the former Wales Tourist Board) agree. The Observer named Trehilyn in their Top 15 Green Places to Stay in the UK (No.7) and the Irish Times love it too. Expect a genuinely stylish, quality interior with real attention to detail. An authentic restoration undertaken with sustainability in mind.  Enjoy seventy acres of farmland with fine sea views - Trehilyn is about a mile inland from the most dramatic section of the Pembrokeshire coast. Trehilyn Uchaf is the main 1830s farmhouse, adjoining the smaller Trehilyn Isaf . Click here for an aerial photo or here for guest snaps. There are plenty of trains to Haverfordwest and buses from there to Fishguard.

Customer Comments

'The moment we crossed the threshold it felt like home, we loved everything about Trehilyn. The decoration is beautiful. It was so comfy and cosy it was initially difficult to drag ourselves outside, but well worth it when we did. It is so peaceful here and such a welcome break from the humdrum of daily life.' ~ Jay, Lucia & Darina

'What a beautiful week in a beautiful place! We helped the farmer move his sheep down the lane, saw wild porpoises off the cliffs, and the sunset from Garn Fawr..absolutely GREAT!' ~ Tony & Jackie from Brighouse

'We so enjoyed our stay at Trehilyn. The cottage was a delight, the people friendly, the scenery breathtaking and the weather perfect.' ~ Jackie Harrison & friends from Brighouse
