Access to field down to river where you have another picnic bench. Parking. The slate floor, enclosed rear garden, and good local dog walking make this property suitable for well behaved pets. Rural public footpaths just yards away. We've deliberately kept this cottage simple and rustic inside, so there is no TV and there are traditional oil lamps etc if you wish to use them (electric lights also fitted). We've even avoided putting in a clock, though there is a CD player/ radio. Those who can't cope without their gadgets could always bring a laptop to play DVDs. The woodburning stove throws out an impressive 8kw of heat (that's like 8 bars on an electric fire!) and stays lit overnight, but there is electric panel heating for back-up. So it's rustic without being uncomfortable! This property has a generous midday check out time on day of departure.
