The Accommodation

As seen in World of Interiors magazine (Jan 2010)  - see here. A secluded traditional hillside cottage with a minimalist & modernist interior, extension & hot tub. This is a holiday home for people that love minimalism, good architecture and  design. No fuss, no clutter, just clean lines and a wonderful sense of purity. Your eyes are constantly drawn out to the landscape and the views of the Preseli mountains. Set in a good-sized garden up a private track, this is a minimalist, really 'hard-core' modernist escape. Set in the heart of the hills of Carmarthenshire, yet easily accessed from the M4. There are no near neighbours, and wide open country views. Customer Comments

'Very peaceful place and the hot tub is great, loved the master bedroom, great layout and design. Really enjoyed ourselves and have yet another 'Under the Thatch ' cottage to recommend to our friends' ~ Suzanne & Neil Travers

'As South Africans living at the most southern tip of Africa (Mossel Bay) this rural area reminds us of home, the layout and architectural design of Bryncyn cottage is stunning and the fireplace adds a nice touch to the cottage. ' ~ Rudie, Dalene, Rudolph and Liandi Minnie

'It was fantastic, loved the hot tub, beds were comfortable, views were also fantastic. We will be back !' ~ Oscar Chapman, Dubai

Booking Notes

Note bumpy track OK for all but lowest of cars. Property not suitable for children under 8 years old (babes in arms OK). Ladder stairs to bedroom 2. We recommend this cottage for max. 4 adults. Note the cottage has a minimalist, concrete interior that won't suit everyone as it can feel 'austere' in Winter.
