Named in the 'Top 10 UK cottages for Lovers' (Sunday Telegraph) who describe Blaentrothy Bach as 'Perfect for explorers and literature lovers - this is the place to discover the Welsh Marches.' and in the 'Top 6 Welsh Cottages 2010' (Independent), Blaentrothy is a smart little retreat formed from the former stables (a rear wing) of a 'Listed' 17th century farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The cottage has been renovated using traditional materials, sourced locally and is peacefully located in a beautiful area. We're particularly fond of the roll-top bath in the bedroom.
