Built in the late 1400s, fitted with floors and fireplace in early 1600s Efail Lingoed is a lesson in the local vernacular, the house has a calm, rustic feel with limewashed walls, a huge open fire, mullion windows and heavy oak beams. The house is surprisingly original to the 17th century, but Efail Lingoed's chief delight is its gardens with Tudor-style box hedging, antique roses, herb garden, ancient yew tree and wildflower meadow.
