Caban Cariad ('The Loveshack') is a groovy woodland cabin in the heart of the beautiful West Wales countryside at Cenarth. Architect designed in 1973, and renovated with retro and designer furnishings, the cabin is a simple (basic even) but fun place to stay.  It is nestled in the trees at Penlan woodland holiday village in Cenarth,  a quiet, quality holiday village of privately-owned cabins carefully arranged into small 'cul de sacs' in the woodland. Free use of communal pool in the summer! Walk down to the waterfalls or short drive to beaches.

The cabin is insulated and entirely lined in pine, has wall heaters in every room, is partly-double glazed. Wi-Fi usually available but not guaranteed.

• Decking/Patio: Patio set
• Lounge: Huge comfy sofa, pebble fire, views out to the woods, and a DVD TV. Dining table, and a few designer goodies like Roy Lichtenstein 'cartoon' paintings, Henry Massonnet stools, Philippe Starck 'Eros' dining chairs etc. Groovy!
• Kitchen: The compact galley kitchen is small but adequate for holiday use and there are plenty of options to eat out locally if you wish.
• All appliances (fridge (with small ice compartment), cooker, microwave etc) are full size. A few nice retro touches like the 'bullet' bin and groovy tableware. Pretend you're back in the 1970s when you pass plates of prawn cocktail through the pine serving hatch. Laundry facilities available on site as well as iron etc. Steam iron in cabin.
• Master Bedroom: Small but so cosy! Pine clad walls and a cosy double bed you won't want to get out of. All bedlinen in the cabin is 100% cotton.
• Second bedroom: Kids will love the bunks and amusing peephole windows out into the woods.Sleeps 2 in (full size) bunk beds. Not large as rooms go (probably therefore better suited to kids than adults), but kids seem to get excited by it! Note there is no room for a travel cot in the bedroom, but you would fit a small moses basket in.
• Toilet & Shower Room: Small room that does exactly what it says on the tin, window out to the trees, and one of those heaters that blasts you with hot air when you get out of the shower. Rubber floor.
