about the property

Love to be secluded in a private hillside location? This large family holiday cottage barn conversion is luxurious and beautifully renovated and decorated – far beyond what you’d normally see in a Welsh holiday cottage.

Blaen Cerniog is a beautifully renovated barn, mixing contempory interiors that are flooded with light and comfortable furnishings into a traditional environment. It is located in an outstanding wild moor providing seclusion and privacy.

There are state of the art mod cons, wi-fi, Sky Tv (sports) and underfloor heating. The unsurpassed 360 degree mountain views invite you to explore the great outdoors.

Not excluding the amazing views and fabulous outdoors, the huge floor to ceiling windows and the clever ground-source heat-pump under floor system are amongst the best features of this property.

Nothing is off limits, the house is yours and you are free to walk in 16,000 acres around the house which is Common Land - what could be better!

Amazing location felt totally secluded from the world. The property is spectacular and felt cosy and charming. So much to explore in the moorland. Two lambs and all the sheep were like peeping toms. I cannot wait to book another holiday here! It is heaven.

Amazing place. Spent five of the most quite and peaceful days ever in this place. If you really want to escape from everything and everyone - you probably won't find better place than Blaencerniog.

We all had a fantastic stay - the location was beautiful - well equipped with plenty of crockery and glasses, comfy beds and settees - lots of hot water for bathing - the dogs had lots of fun too
