‘Dolly’ is a preserved Circus Living Waggon, tastefully restored over 3 years by it’s owners and lavishly furnished….ideal for a secluded romantic getaway for two. ‘Dolly’ was one of three identical wagons built in 1946 which features a very unusual external finish, being half timbered with leaded light bays. It toured the country with a private Circus until retired and was originally home to acrobats, and later a clairvoyant. It came to Ffynnon Fendigaid (it’s current home) in 2009 and since then 'Dolly' has been substantially overhauled. She is now connected to mains water and electricity, and a Shepherds Hut adjacent was built to house a contemporary bathroom. See our photo abum here

'Dolly' is fantastic. Authentically restored with great fixtures and furnishings, but with all modern conveniences. We wanted for nothing! Claire and Paul, Leicestershire. Ignore the fact that it rained throughout our holiday, we loved 'Dolly' and her surroundings. We felt like real circus acts, Bob won't take his red nose and big shoes off! All food in pubs and cafes was superb! Think we've developed gills and hard shells. We'll be back to enjoy it all in the sunshine!! Bob and Teresa, Northampton. I treasure the time i spend here, and staying in 'Dolly' and been a magical experience. Thank you, Huw, for your wonderful hospitality. It has been great fun. Shelley, Grenada. Absolutely loved 'Dolly', beautifully restored and extremely well finished in every detail. Spent much more time staying in our accommodation than we would normally, we didn't want to leave her behind! Julie and Bethany, Lancashire. |
