‘Dolly’ is a preserved Circus Living Waggon, tastefully restored over 3 years by it’s owners and lavishly furnished….ideal for a secluded romantic getaway for two.

‘Dolly’ was one of three identical wagons built in 1946 which features a very unusual external finish, being half timbered with leaded light bays. It toured the country with a private Circus until retired and was originally home to acrobats, and later a clairvoyant.

It came to Ffynnon Fendigaid (it’s current home) in 2009 and since then 'Dolly' has been substantially overhauled. She is now connected to mains water and electricity, and a Shepherds Hut adjacent was built to house a contemporary bathroom. See our photo abum here

• Kitchen /Diner - generous sized kitchen with compact oven and grill, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle sink and drainer etc. Table and two stools
• Parlour - Panelled in light oak with fitted cupboards, display cabinets, bureau and wardrobe. There is a settee, an armchair digital TV with freeview, leaded lights with views over the field and countryside beyond.
• Bedroom - This cosy oak panelled bedroom features a full size double bed (unusual for a circus waggon) bed side locker and corner cupboard. Leaded light windows with views over the fields.
• Bathroom - directly outside the circus waggon is a Shepherd hut, built especially to house the contemporary shower room, oval shower, electric heating sink and loo. There is also a dressing area just outside the shower room.
• There is electric heating throughout 'Dolly'

Outside:

• Front door opens onto a lovely private patio layed to lawn and gravel and views over the fields. There is a garden table and chairs for alfresco dining. Deck chairs, barbeque and sun loungers available. and far reaching views to the countryside and beyond

Ignore the fact that it rained throughout our holiday, we loved 'Dolly' and her surroundings. We felt like real circus acts, Bob won't take his red nose and big shoes off!
