Ty Traeth is a charming seaside stone cottage, just a minute's walk from the glorious beach of Llangrannog on the West Wales coast. Llangrannog has a sheltered sandy beach known as 'Traeth y Pentref' (the village beach). At low tide it is possible to walk around the rocks to the hidden sandy cove of Cilborth (also accessible by a coastal path not affected by the tides). Situated halfway between the market town of Cardigan and the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron. You are ideally located to explore the rugged Ceridigion coastal path, surfing, kayaking or for the less adventurous a picnic on the beach which is all only a short stroll away. You are near the heart of Llangrannog, a sleepy coastal village, where you can simply relax and watch the world go by from the excellent cafes and pubs which include an award winning pub/restaurant, a beach cafe (with delicious home made ice cream as recommended by Rick Stein) and a small traditional pub that serves fresh sea food straight from Cardigan Bay. The cottage interiors reflect a cool contemporary style and the rooms are fresh and airy. All the windows have shutters, perfect for cosy nights in next to the log-burner in Winter months.
