Small, simple, rustic, with luxurious touches such as Egyptian cotton sheets and Wi-Fi. This cottage is ideal for cosy romantic breaks for two. It sits on a quiet road in a small hamlet a five minute walk from Rhydlewis village (shop, salmon smokery etc). Ty’r Gof comes with its own private 2 acre woodland containing a circular walk, and great views over the valley. The cottage is essentially one open space with kitchen /Living and dining area - warmed by the new 8KW woodburner. Nobody (even in deep snow) has ever said they've been cold there. The woodburner can even warm the cottage the day after fire goes out!

• Cegin Fawr with 4m high ceiling giving sense of space. Flagstone floor, traditional Ceredigion 'simne lwfr' (wickerwork chimney, lined for the new 8KW woodburner).
• Two modern sofas, table & chairs. Roberts digital radio and NEWbroadbandWi-Fi and ipod/mp3 dock
  
• Doors front and back to gardens and country views from windows front and back.
• Lovely traditional Welsh blankets adorn the bed and living area.

Crogloft:

• Double bed fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets, traditional Welsh blankets and lit by traditional rooflight above that overlooks rear garden. Open as mezzanine to room below. Low headroom. A travel-cot is (permanently) at the cottage, but bring own baby cot bedding, and high chair if required.
• Shower room: Large shower room with toilet and hand basin. Powerful shower. Wooden floor and rustic panelled walls.Heated towel rail, wall heater and panel blast-heater for when you get out the shower. Egyptian cotton towels provided.

Outside:

• Garden: small garden to front that gets the sun most of the day, and a small raise patio with picnic bench to the rear with nice views. Parking
  
• NEW! Woodland: Access to 2 acres of private woodland (100m away), beautiful circular walk revealing great views of the valley.

"Completely exceeded our expectations on a cold, wet Friday night. Absolutely LOVE the Welsh blankets and all the quirky touches -even an intact Thermos!

Spent the days exploring the local area. Llangrannog was our favourite, we were even asked to help the locals land their boat!!

Perfect evenings spent by the fire listening to Radio 6 and repeatedly voicing our delight at being here!!
