Featured in '25 Beautiful Homes' magazine, and named in the UK’s Top Five ‘Lovenests’ by The Guardian newspaper. Ty'r Gof (The Blacksmith's Cottage) is a traditional West Wales 'croglofft' cottage in a lovely rural location just an 7 minute drive from some of the best beaches in Wales. Small, simple, rustic, with luxurious touches such as Egyptian cotton sheets and Wi-Fi. This cottage is ideal for cosy romantic breaks for two. It sits on a quiet road in a small hamlet a five minute walk from Rhydlewis village (shop, salmon smokery etc). Ty’r Gof comes with its own private 2 acre woodland containing a circular walk, and great views over the valley. Other good country walks can be had immediately from the door, with guides provided in the cottage. See the local coast, the cottage from the front or from the rear or read two independent 5* reviews. See more photos of the cottage here.

"Completely exceeded our expectations on a cold, wet Friday night. Absolutely LOVE the Welsh blankets and all the quirky touches -even an intact Thermos!
Spent the days exploring the local area. Llangrannog was our favourite, we were even asked to help the locals land their boat!!
Perfect evenings spent by the fire listening to Radio 6 and repeatedly voicing our delight at being here!!
VERY comfy bed!
Thank you very much "~ Kate and Sam ~ who stayed in February 2013

'One of the loveliest, most relaxing places we've ever stayed. Fantastic walks (saw dolphins and a snake!), and fabulous locally produced food that we brought home to warm on the stove. Stuff mushrooms with local Perl Las chese - delicious!' ~ Gail & Aaron, who stayed for Aaron's 24th birthday in March
'Such a beautiful cottage for our Honeymoon! It is 200% better than we anticipated, loved the peace and quiet. We made a pact to turn off our mobile phones and have banned radio and newspapers - it is bliss!' ~ David & Suzanne from Horwich, who stayed in January
