You can walk (2 miles) to the famous Walnut Tree Inn (Michelin Star restaurant, but surprisingly reasonable for lunch), or down to the pub, or just stay at home and enjoy the views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains. A short drive and you are in the Brecon Beacons National Park. You may need a taxi or to ask for a lift at the start and end of your holiday if you have heavy cases, but otherwise there are local public transport services available within walking distance. You can get information on UK transport services from Transport Direct using a destination postcode of NP7 8RG. Train to Abergavenny from where you can get a taxi or (by prior arrangement) a pickup may be possible - 5 miles.

Prices include heating and electricity where it is installed, bed-linen, towels, and hot water. Guests may be responsible for purchasing extra baskets of logs/fuel if desired.
