more about Bryn Dedwydd

about the property

Stylish Snowdonia barn conversion for 10 in North Wales, with wide open views and space for all the family. A Snowdonia holiday cottage with a 5* interior and the perfect base for exploring the mountains and hills. Walk to the pub!

Bryn Dedwydd is a detached contemporary barn conversion for up to 10, with a stylish, original, and handsome interior with beautiful open landscape views on all sides. Renovated by a stockbroker and an artist (the perfect combination?), the interior has a stylish modern feel with original art on virtually every wall and some lovely attention to detail. Sleeps 8 but the 'T' shaped plan means it still feels good for couples. Stay here if you want to experience comfort, a bit of luxury, and have access to great walks, the sights of Snowdonia National Park, and some amazing wildlife. Four bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms and a great, high-quality specification throughout.

Situated down a private track, there is a farmhouse nearby but not close enough to affect your privacy. Country walks (or down to village pub) from the door.

Our party of 4 adults and 3 children (all aged from 3-5 years) had a lovely stay at Bryn Dedwydd. We were very lucky with the weather and the children enjoyed playing out in the garden whlist we enjoyed eating out at the table on the decking. The cottage is well equipped to a high standard with comfortable beds and a relaxing lounge in the evening. The wood burner would be lovely in the Winter! We would happily visit again and recommend to others.

A very lovely house, tastefully done with lots of art on the walls. Great walks right outside also very near to Snowdonia. Rob was very helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcome. We would definitely go back again.

Absolutely lovely weekend spent in Bryn Dedwydd. The property had all the facilities we needed as a family with 2 small children and the surrounding landscapes are beautiful. The house is warm and cosy with charm and character. We've stayed here twice now, and won't hesitate to come back again!

We had a fantastic time “under the thatch”. The cottage is in a beautiful location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and convenient to access Snowdon and surrounding villages. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has all conveniences you would hope for.

We visited Snowdonia Barn on a wet weekend in September with a group of friends and we had the best time! The house was stunning and had everything you needed for a relaxing and comfortable weekend away. The huge living area was fantastic with the fire lit and the kitchen was really well equipped! The views of farmland all around were beautiful and the location was perfect for peace and quiet. Already looking at when we could return!

Beautiful times in the SnowDonia Barn, a beautiful & calm cottage, more than enough space for the adults & children to all potter about and not feel on top of one another and still a really cosy atmosphere. Plenty to do in local area, ideally located. The owners were so considerate & thoughtful, we had everything we needed and more! Even access to fresh eggs and veg should we need any. We would. definitely recommend to families or couples and plan to return to this little bit of heaven - next time we'll book a longer stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Snowdonia Barn. The views from the property were fantastic. The house was perfect for our large group, with a big kitchen, big living room and really practical terrace and garden that was great to play in. We even had some lambs visit! The owners were really reassuring and went out of their way to be helpful when we needed them. The location meant we had a fantastic holiday as there was so much to do and see close by and we'd thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Another great long weekend in this Snowdonia Barn - the location is great, feels remote, yet Betws-y-coed is just down the road. We managed to do some good walking straight from the door and the barn had everything we needed. Perfect for a group get together.

This is a great house - it is really homely and fantastically renovated with some really lovely artwork and unique features. Also really well equipped for a holiday rental. We had a great Christmas week here - despite the rain and wind!! The wood burner kept us all toasty. The location is beautiful with great views out over the fields. Paul and Rob were really helpful with any queries we had answered really promptly. Thanks very much for having us.
