A romantic woodland cabin retreat, 15 minutes walking distance from the Pembrokeshire beaches of Abermawr and Aberbach.
Converted from an artist's coastal studio, Caban Abermawr is one of the few buildings close to Abermawr and Aberbach beaches - two of the jewels in the crown of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The National Trust has fortunately kept development away from the beaches themselves, so this is a rare opportunity to book a romantic escape for two in what we consider to be one of the best locations in West Wales. Walk down through the Trust woodlands to the beaches, and then home to your own fireside. Sleep listening to the sound of the waves in the cove below.
Local owner Ed has upgraded the cabin with love and wit, upcycling and recycling antique materials to give the place real warmth and character. Despite being just through the trees from our Bwthyn Abermawr, you feel here like you're in a private treehouse, and if you're lucky you'll spot the badgers, foxes and woodpeckers that live here in amongst the trees. This is a simple place, in a wonderful location, with the best of Pembrokeshire within easy reach.
Caban Abermawr can be booked with Bwthyn Abermawr to accommodate up to 8 guests.
