about the property

Luxury historic get-together farmhouse and rooms with hot tub, overlooking the beautiful Wye Valley literary town, Hay on Wye.

One Property Price - have up to 24 guests staying for the one price, irrespective of the number of guests or how many of the nights they stay. The property sleeps up to 19 adults across the 9 beds and 1 sofa bed, plus up to an extra 5 children on camp beds

Wye House is a 17th century extended stone farmhouse (4 bedrooms) with a substantial guest annexe (five en-suite bedrooms each with own lounges) - a fantastic 'get-together' house for special birthday or event. We like the relaxed vintage interior styling and that so many bedrooms are full suites with their own lounge areas. It's just a 7 minute drive to the world-famous quirky book town of Hay-on-Wye in Herefordshire on the Wales / England border. The five bedrooms in the guest annexe all have their own private lounge areas away from the main house.

Set in its own idyllic 5 acres, you will have a beautiful garden with a hot tub and Kadai area plus a red brick barn with a gym. In addition, there is a games room and a separate activity room with wifi.

customer reviews for *New* Wye House

We were a group of 15 ladies of all different ages and each of us loved every minute of our stay. If you are looking for a enchanting house on a beautiful piece of land then look no further! The location was perfect out of the way enough to feel secluded but also close to Hay on Wye for anything we needed. The scenery was breath taking! The hosts were also lovely and made our stay seamless with Covid secure hand overs. We are going to make this house a yearly retreat as this place is good for your soul! - Katherine

November 2021

A large group of us had a wonderful stay for my partner's 40th. The house has fantastic facilities for playing, dining and celebrating, both indoors and outdoors. The decor is a a clever blend of original features with modern but cosy touches. The bedrooms were all comfortable and spacious, both in the main house and in the annexe rooms. The catering recommended by the venue was top notch, and made for a perfect Saturday evening toasting the birthday girl. Then there's the scenery - what a lovely, peaceful setting. The view from the property is beautiful and the wood fired hot tub is an excellent way to take it all in. We went on a long walk and it's all so quiet, green and relaxing. We could have stayed longer. We fully recommend a stay! - Toby
