A really lovely, sympathetically restored house. We all enjoyed our stay, Thank you!

Tenby House is a lovely, compassionate restoration of an historic property. It’s both quirky and charming and sits above one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.

Lovely quirky old house for a getaway weekend. The property is full of character and thoughtful touches, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Log burners were a bonus and the location right by the harbour was idyllic - we woke the sound of seagulls every morning which was bliss. Our only suggestions would be to add a couple more comfy armchairs in the front room off the hallway to enjoy that area too. All in all a delightful stay, thank you.

A great holiday in a wonderful location. The house is very well equipped for all ages from toddlers to seniors and very easy to live in. A perfect location in Tenby - turn right out of the front door for the beaches and harbour, and left for the town - just a few steps ether way. The Tenby coastline is stunningly beautiful and just taking in the views of beaches, cliffs and blue sea is life enhancing. We are sure to come back.

The house is in a fantastic location 20 yards from the main road or 20 yards from a view of the harbour. We would describe the house as quirky and spacious. It was well furnished I was surprised it didn’t have a bread maker because it had everything else, it probably did but we didn’t find it. I would advise my friends and family to go here and would return myself

Absolutely wonderful stay for my partner's big birthday with a group of friends. The house is perfectly located just a minute's walk from town, the harbour and the beaches. Inside is so cosy and quirky, and we all slept very well thanks to comfy beds and quiet location. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook for 8 people. It took us a few mins to locate the house in the dark and some more instruction on where to leave the car whilst unloading and a house name plaque would be helpful. Otherwise our stay was perfect!

Fantastic and slightly quirky accommodation. If was as close to the two amazing Tenby beaches as it was possible to get. Great time had by all, especially our 3 year old granddaughter. Will definitely will book with Under The Thatch again.

Bide-A-Wee as it is historically known is an amazing property, lovingly and sympathetically restored over recent years by the longstanding owners. The tiny street in which it sits is very much in the heart of Tenby although you feel nicely tucked away from tourist bustle. The house has everything you might need for a family holiday with thought through kitchen facilities - it is a joy to cook there! There are a few useful toys in the children's room as well as boogie boards and games for younger children. You will not miss the lack of television. Don't let the lack of parking dissuade you from choosing this grand home as it's a pleasure to embrace the lack of a vehicle (which can be parked quite easily nearby) on your doorstep and walk.

Tenby House and Tenby Town are a cultural experience of World significance, as good as any. Bide a Wee is an oasis, welcoming, intriguing and a "last homely house". The holiday highlight was that we only ever wanted to use our cars once

We had a fantastic week's stay. This house is in the perfect location, with three beaches within easy walking distance (minutes away) and the high street even closer. The house is spacious, quirky and with loads of character. Good restaurants on your doorstep too. A great place to stay.

Tenby House is so beautiful I loved so many of the accessories, cushions, throws, etc I wish they had their own catalogue. Unfortunately the weather left much to be desired, but the house was even nice to watch rain from. A good spot handy for the town and the beach.

Lovely centrally located house that has been sympathetically restored. Very well equipped kitchen and 2 great bathrooms including roll top baths. Will definitely stay here again.

An ideal base to enjoy Tenby and the surrounding area, easy access to all beaches and the town in a minute. The house itself had a thumbs up from all the three generations of visitors. The bedrooms were all spacious and the children's bedroom was filled with toys to keep children busy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped to cater for a crowd. The fresh herbs were a lovely touch as were the fresh flowers everywhere. We enjoyed looking at the books detailing the restoration of the property. The end results are definitely worth the effort put in. A little cafe table and chairs in the outdoor courtyard would have saved us taking the kitchen chairs outside .I think there's just enough room for one. We made full use of the seafood stall at the harbour entrance so it was laverbread and bacon for breakfast. If the weather is inclement there are a host of nearby attractions within easy reach .However we had a week of sunshine so it was on the beach for most of us while Grandad and dog found a quiet spot to chill out above the beach. If anyone is planning a trip to Pembrokeshire this is the house to stay in, packed with history, atmosphere and character but also incredibly welcoming and friendly. We would all love to return.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time this summer in the Tenby House. Being Americans, we rarely have the chance to stay in a property that dates back so far, it was an amazing experience. The house has been lovingly restored keeping bits of its historic character in the decor while at the same time having modern conveniences such as a lovely, inviting kitchen, relaxing baths and of course, wifi. The best of both worlds. We appreciated the fact that the property is kept very clean and included loving touches such as fresh flowers in many of the rooms and comfortable sheets and towels. Tenby is a beautiful town and to be able to stay in a such a historical property while we were there truly enhanced our visit." Sunny and Mike

What a find! Fabulous house, decorated beautifully, warm and cosy. Only a stone's throw from the beach, and a stroll to the harbour where we bought lobster, cockles and mackerel - all freshly caught nearby. Plenty to do in the area, beautiful beaches in Tenby, great for dog walking. Only a short journey to Stackpole and the famous Barafundle bay. We had a fabulous time here, will be back. Perfect location, lovely stay in an iconic house in Tenby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tenby House. Fantastic location and very interesting historical house. We parked the car and did not use for the whole of the stay. We spent our time on the beach, a two minute walk and bought fish from Sarah at the harbour. Visited Caldey island boats every 20 mins. Plenty of places to eat and drink in Tenby. Very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend .
