Wild Horse House is a 17th Century farmhouse in an incredibly peaceful location with stunning views all around. It is situated on Newchurch Hill and you can walk straight off the private 15-acre farm onto thousands of acres of common land inhabited by wild ponies, sheep, rabbits and the rare wild hare.

customer reviews for Wild Horse House

We couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to spend our family Christmas. Welcomed with a delightful hamper full of deli treats, Wild Horse House exceeded all our expectations, with beautiful décor, immaculate furnishings and the most tranquil location. Everywhere was fresh and clean and the kitchen in particular was fantastic - incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Juliette has great attention to detail and was really helpful from initial booking through to arrival and departure. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and I’m sure we’ll return.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Wild horses. Although blessed with great weather, the views and the property would be enjoyable in any season. No detail has been spared by the owners who have restored this cottage lovingly. Everything is beautifully chosen and curated to give you all the comforts of a boutique hotel - wonderful greeting hamper, fresh wild flowers on every table, copious luxurious linen - it's a real treat for all ! The kitchen is superb and well equipped - we even cancelled our dinner reservations as cooking was so pleasurable there and the fire pit was brilliant for marshmallow toasting with the kids for desert The walking is spectacular and Haye only a stones throw away. Can't recommend this spot and this house enough - we will definitely be returning.

An amazing house! Immaculately clean with wonderful interiors and incredible views. Attention to detail was outstanding such as fresh flowers in all rooms, organic toiletries and a quality hamper and much more. The location was utterly peaceful and tranquil with access to a vast common land at your doorstep. Juliette the owner was very friendly and helpful and we felt at home immediately on our arrival. Wild Horse House is a spacious, über comfortable gem of a property. It has high-spec mod cons available. It offers a fantastic quality in cooking facilities / equipment if you are self catering. With walks available straight from the house, it's a must visit property. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

We've all had an amazing October half term week at Wild Horse House, loved every moment. The house itself is immaculate; the kitchen has everything you need and we loved our toasty warm bathroom with the huge bath! (Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is great for a larger group). The land and woodland outside was perfect for the dogs and children to run about and explore. Juliette was a most welcoming host, and the welcome hamper was the best I have ever seen! Highly recommend this house to anybody looking for a peaceful break, in top-quality accommodation.

A divine location where attention to detail 0n the whole stay was not spared. This is by far the best UTT house we have stayed at (my wife has a cottage with UTT too) - and she agreed! Juliette left a great welcome pack and the house was pure luxury with everything you need. All I can say is 10 out of 10. Juliette please convert the charming outbuildings along side for more units and pool!. Andrew/Louise & triplets
